1 Layer or 2 Layers?

1 Layer – one 5mm plywood piece, full-color printed and cut to the shape of the design. Slim and lightweight.
2 Layers – the printed front layer is mounted on a second 5mm backing layer cut slightly larger (about 10mm total). Thicker, sturdier, with a raised 3D look.
